Amol Muzumdar is a cricket coach and former player for Mumbai & Assam Ranji Teams.

He was appointed the Head Coach for India's Women's National Team.

He held the record for highest score on Ranji debut for over 25 years. He scored 260 runs against Haryana.

He surpassed the record for highest runs in Ranji Trophy cricket in Jan 2007.

He captained Mumbai for the 2006-07 season and won the Ranji Trophy that year.

He went on to represent Assam and Andhra Pradesh in domestic cricket.

He has worked as a batting coach/ consultant with Rajasthan Royals & the South African national team.
